Combined, we have 121 children, 133 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
7 of us served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
38 of us spent a combined total of 143 years earning 6 Associates, 29 Bachelors, 8 Masters and 2 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 47 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 35 foreign countries.
1 of us has a birthday this month, and 8 of us have birthdays in June.
Currently, 25 of us are retired.

In Memory of Carolyn Campbell Mondy

MONDY, Carolyn Campbell – 67, of Mechanicsville, VA, was called Home by our Lord, Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Roy Mondy; her children, Yates Mondy (Sarah), and Megan Carroll (Matt); 4 grandchildren, Grace, Ty, Rian, and Barrett; twin sister, Nancy King (Allen); brother, Joe Campbell (Tia); and so many other family and friends.
Carolyn was many things to many people, but above all she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and servant of her community.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 1 – 2 pm, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 7046 Cold Harbor Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23111, where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
A live stream option will be available via the church’s website. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church. |

"16" years as classmates from 1st-7th at Battlefield Park Elem to 8th-12th at Lee-Davis HS to 4yrs at Longwood University with one of the kindest human beings I've ever known is a Special Blessing Beyond Words. Rest in Peace Carolyn knowing you have left this world a better place with the wonderful legacy you created. |
