7 of us served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
38 of us spent a combined total of 143 years earning 6 Associates, 29 Bachelors, 8 Masters and 2 Doctorate degrees.
Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 47 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 35 foreign countries.
1 of us has a birthday this month, and 8 of us have birthdays in June.
Currently, 25 of us are retired.

In Memory of Jerry Dowdy

DOWDY, Jerry Kelley, 62, of Montpelier, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Evans Kelley Dowdy; three brothers, two sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Jerry retired from Dominion, where he worked for 39 years.
He was a loving, generous man who truly put others' needs before his own. He loved spending time outdoors - hiking, kayaking and enjoying nature. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 28, from 5 to 7p.m. at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a Celebration of Life service will be conducted Wednesday, April 29, at 12 noon.
Interment will be held at a later date. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to The Audubon Society. |
